Last night’s Kick-Off was a huge success. With over 275 guests in attendance, the house was packed. After enjoying a great meal prepared by Mike & Donna Graybeal and the Cuming County Feeders, and entertainment by West Point-Beemer School vocalists and musicians and St. Mary’s youth choir, the evening was off to a great start. The program began at 7:00 with prayer and introduction of the American Veterans Park Planning Committee. Information on the committee’s mission and objectives was explained and photos of the planned park were displayed. Committee members went on to outline the plan for construction and financial planning. Following the educational portion of the program, guest speakers were invited to speak as representatives of each of the groups honored by American Veterans Park.
The committee is very grateful to all who attended and appreciative of the generous support offered by the Cuming County community.
